Grade 12 Convocation Awards

These awards are awarded to students from an LCS Faculty and Administration Internal Scholarship Committee

Convocation Awards	Eligibilty
Outstanding Music Award	Is awarded to graduates who have been nominated by the Performing Arts teachers for their outstanding contribution to the LCS Music Program over the course of the last four year
Chown Centenial Scholarship	Is awarded to a graduating student who has been recommended by his or her high school and has been accepted into any University of Manitoba program
Grant Memorial Bible Scholarship	Is awarded to an LCS graduate who demonstrates Christian character, strong overall academic performance, community and church involvement, leadership abilities and servanthood
Frank Gillis Memorial Scholarship	Is awarded to an LCS graduating student who displays strong Christian character, commitment to excellence and is planning to pursue a career in Engineering
Valerie Peters Memorial Educator's Scholarship	Is awarded to a student who has chosen education as their career path.
​Wiebe Growth Achievement Scholarship	Is awarded to a high school student that has demonstrated significant growth in their high school years
Steinbach Credit Union  Scholarship	Is awarded to a student who is enrolled in post-secondary schooling and has a strong commitment to excellence in all educational endeavours.
Gallagher Scholarship	Is awarded to a student who is enrolled in business school and has a strong commitment to excellence in all educational endeavours.
Jim Carr Award for Musical Excellence	Is awarded to a student who has a high level of excellence in both academics and in a musical field of either vocal, instrumental or musical theatre.
Linden Christian School Bible  Scholarships	​Students are eligible to receive a Linden Christian School Bible Scholarship to help with post-secondary biblical studies programs based on specific criteria of what ministry or Bible College they are attending.
Governor General's Bronze Medal Award	Based on highest marks from Grade 11 and Grade 12
Schulich Leader Scholarship	The nominee is nominated by the Science Department
